A friend wants to use my wrecker to do a job, crane work. Just wondering how much to charge. By the hour? Day?

If it's for personal work using the crane then that goes without saying. Replace the fuel used, and fix anything they broke.

If it's for commercial use An 8 ton carry deck crane rents for about $700 a day to $2000 a week from united rentals. Your remote location would add some as well
