Replacement Batteries

I need to replace all four 6TL batteries in my M813A1, does anyone know what civilian batteries will fit in the box. Perhaps a group # or part #. I would like to stay away from the 6TL's if I can. Thanks

I put Interstate "Workaholic" batteries in my Deuce. Same size as the military ones I pulled out.
Their number is U6TL

You can use Optima gell cells, they make an adapter plate to replace the 6TL...

Optimas are more expensive then the 6TL's, and the interstate versions are still expensive I know I am wishing but does Die Hard or the like make something that will fit?

The Workaholics are good batts.. Same as the 6TL.

$120ish retail, but blems are the way to go. Less than $40 usually.

Yes but I can't find any blems in my area, I am thinking of replacing all four 6Tls with two long style commercial/dozer batteries, I wonder if they would last longer??

I thought about buying some of that battery rejuvinatorfrom like JC Witney, but I wonder if it is a scam?

MV magazine had a tried and true method on how to rejuviante old batteries not too long ago. That and a solargizer and you'll be set.

I use 2x 4D batteries from Tractor Supply in my 816,they fit the box in length but not width.I use 4x4's to keep them centered.

I have a friend who tried the battery rejuvinator from JC Whitney, and he said it worked. But he also thinks aluminum foil makes a great window tint!
