Rhino spare tire carrier and surge brakes

I know this has been discussed before but want to be sure that the rhino carrier does not position the spare so that it interferes with the surge brakes on M1102. I know there is a pintle extension but don't want to install unless I must. Thanks, Bob

Found answer on Rhino website: does not interfere with towing M1101 and M1102 trailers. Must have missed this first read. If anyone has found this not to be true please post. Thank you

There is an early and late style bracket....late one has slotted holes to raise it for trailer hook up.

Thank you, 86 humv for excellent pictures and answer. New bracket looks taller so I think I will pass on early model as I plan on pulling M1102. The expertise on this site is invaluable! Bob
