Saw my first HEMTT

I was driving in Hazel Green WI today on Hwy 11 and as I passed by the gas station, what do I see? A tan M985 cargo truck with the crane on the back. It was sitting on the back of a low boy hooked up to a tractor, parked... It had writing all over the windows like it had just been sold at auction... So I reached down and grabbed my camera phone, and found I left it at home... So I will say it for you...........




It was a great looking truck! Wonder who bought it? Where its going?

I drove them in the military. They are way cool to drive and the knuckleboom is icing in the cake.

Probably going back to Oshkosh Truck for a re-fit, unlikely it was surplussed and sold.

It could come to my house, the M977 could use a mate and it would never have to sleep outside any more.
