they had one out at the Toys for Tots drive and MAN, was that thing a beast. I'm not a big fan of the latest military toys cause they're just too high tech for me, but I would have loved to hop over the ropes and climb up in there and drive off! This thing was towering a good 12 feet, a true beast!
Gotta see one in person

here's a pic of one:

Guys;
When Union Pacific stopped on the tracks this summer they had over 100 flat cars of these fresh from the manufacturer! The plastic was still draped over the seats! I got a free up-close and personal look. These things are AWESOME! By the time I came back with my camera they were gone (darn the luck). But they are beautiful to behold.

oh no, they definitely don't compare in the looks department to the deuce. The deuce to me, and even the M37 are THE quintessential military trucks. When I think, MV, I think big wide fenders, slightly sloping hood, slat grill, canvas top. These look like U-HAUL vans/Ford F-600 utility trucks painted olive drab, only a LOT bigger and beefier.

I would be happy just to get one of the M9xx trucks! They are awesome!

The curator of the Mechanized Museum on the base is a MGySgt, and the trucks in my photos are basically 'his' - over 800 trucks of all types - HEMMT's, MTVR's, HMMWV's, the works... in addition to the museum which I'd say probably has 30+ vehicles.

I attached another photo for your viewing pleasure........
