I recently saw in a civi K-5 the hand straps mounted in the corners of the top for the rear seat passengers. I have a set that I want to mount in my M1009. My question is, what type of screws should I use in the fiberglass?

Self tapping screws have worked for installing coat hooks and such. If you are attaching in the side corner radius inside that is hollow so you want a screw that goes thru the inner layer but not the outer layer. Don't overtighten them and strip out the fiber glass. A small 1" # 10 # 12 self tapper. Depends on what size holes are in your grab handles. You have oval heads, flat heads a vast variety of fastening options. Go to a hardware store and take a look. Good Luck.
