Sure! The redneck way is to put a piece of black electrical tape over the light on the dashboard. No fuss, no muss!

:ditto:
The alternative redneck (and destructive) way is taking a screwdriver and punch it through the dash lens and into the light. I'd try the seat belt switch thing, otherwise I'm not too sure how difficult it is to get to the back of the light and unplug, or you could trace from the light and snip them.

It should go out after 10-15 seconds or so... the wire running to the seatbelt on mine was cut so i just pulled it out and the light goes on every time i start the truck but goes out after a few seconds. and no buzzer so no worry. It never comes back on while im driving.

Did you try unplugging the switch at the seat belt on the floor?

Later,
Joe
Not yet. I'll try that. Thanks!
Or you might have to complete the circuit with a jumper at the connection....either way...open or closed should turn off the light....

seya,
