Serial Number location on M101A1...

Having an issue with getting my A1 inspected for registering the trailer in NV. The data plate on the trailer has been scratched in the serial number box. Can't read the numbers and is considered tampered. Is there another location on the M101A1 where the serial number can be located? Or is a new data plate in order.

I don't think there is one other than on the data plate. They aren't high dollar value items so not sure they stamped the frame anyplace.
