Serial number question on HMMWV?

Is there anyone on here that can look my serial # up and possibly tell me what unit it was assigned to and where it was maybe stationed? If not no big deal. Just curious on the history of my truck. Thanks

Feel free to post up any numbers that may be on the bumpers. We can usually decipher them.

serial number won't help you when the guy who does the running is down. You can post it up here once it is available

Ok thanks. They have painted over the numbers so I can't see them but maybe that guy will be back up and running soon.....
