I have a bad leak in one of the fuel lines coming off the fuel filter.
It is the short straight piece, not the bent piece. The TM calls it out
as being preformed, but it looks like what is there is just some typical hose.

Since it failed dramaticaly, I would like to replace it with something
that will last a long time. The part is not available from gmpartsdirect,
so I will be making my own.

Can someone suggest the type and size of the hose? I am guessing
3/8ths neoprene.

Thanks,
Bruce

3/8 to the filter 1/4 from the filter to the injection pump. I just use the regulator stuff (low pressure fuel line/hose) but you can use high pressure if you wish.. but really no need. The regular stuff last 10 + years.

Does anyone happen to know the exact length of 3/8th and 1/4th lines i need to replace all the rubber fuel lines under the hood. I'm talking about from the metal line from the tank to the filter, pump, and IP. I don't need to change the return lines, I only have my 1009 this weekend so i want to go buy the lines then come back and but them on without having to drive anywhere to get more stuff. Thanks.
