Sled pulling with a 5-ton (and a M920)

You had the same problem I did the first time I pulled, lifted the front of the sled up off the ground. You got it moving a LOT faster than I was able to (obviously I can't shift). Those 250's sure do lose their steam when that weight hits the front, I am with you though if it was in 1st it looks like it would have kept pulling. Take a longer chain to hook the sled to next time you pull, with the same amount of weight I bet you wouldn't make it but about 200-225 feet. It all depends on when the sled driver puts the weight at the front of the sled too though, that makes all the difference in the world.
