Hi all. My 91 M925A2 came with two battery charge panels in front of windshield. The wires are cut under dash. How do I hook them up to maintain my batteriers? I still have the four 6volt batteries dated 2012. Is there a reference in a TM? I looked a bit, but could not find one. Do these solar chargers normally work? Thanks for any info!

I swear by the solargizer setups.
My 923's batteries were in marginal shape when I bought it.
Installed a solargizer system, came back a couple of weeks later and it started like they were new.
Re tested with a load meter and they had improved.
The problem you may have is that the controll boxes may be missing.
Look for some small boxes with a red l.e.d. connected to the batteries.

Yep. what Elkhtr said about the "controller(s)" might be the killer of re-using the panels if they are missing.

Just so you know, it isn't a charger.

Its a solar powered system to keep your batterys from sulphating(sp?).

[h=1]24VPSC REV-F PulseTech Solar 24-Volt Battery Charger Desulfator[/h]
Part #: 735X643 Model #: 24VPSC REV-F
The PulseTech 24VPSC 6.3-Watt 24V Solar Charger charges and desulfates all kinds of 24-Volt lead-acid battery systems (conventional flooded, sealed "maintenance free" VRLA and AGM). Safe, reliable and weatherproof, the solar-powered unit prevents dead batteries by keeping them in like-new condition all the time. The 24VPSC REV-F comes with a Push to Test feature that instantly shows the batteries state of charge. Lugs on the battery lead connect directly to the battery terminals.NSN 6130-01-497-0964

Howdy,
You might have the standard GSA one which is Part #: 735X640 Model #:24VPSC

It sounds like you are missing the control box (or boxes)

Ok, little lesson in power here.

P[SUB](W)[/SUB] = I[SUB](A)[/SUB]× V[SUB](V)

So, 6.3watt divided by 24v equals .2625

Yes, the unit charges at a fourth of an amp, my bad, its a charger.

Your best bet is to consider it a battery conditioner for all practical purposes.

Thanks- looks like last owners took/kept the controller boxes. Sounds like ea. box- panel set would be for 24 v, not 12v ea. panel, correct?
