Picked up 2 M923s from Ft Bilss 12/28.
First video is sitting in Ft Stockton 12/29 getting ready to hit the road. My Buddies truck didn't want to start. Figured out later the tank vent was plugged. So we determined that when the fuel cooled over night it pulled all the fuel back into the tank.

Second video is some clips driving from Ft Stockton to Ozona.
Biggest problem we had was my truck just died going down I10 6 miles outside of Junction. Fuel solenoid wire burned all the way back into the truck. Tried replacing the wire but the solenoid was toast. Good thing it was a manual override.

Ill post a more detailed recovery thread we I get a chance.

Nice vid, Krink. Thought I was there for a sec. That part of I-10 between El Paso and San Antonio will bore you to tears. Especially at 55 mph.

Good think you knew about the override screw.

You will want to check the ABS as the light should flash when you start the truck and then go out if the system is operating properly. Nice truck and thanks for sharing the vids.

Any pointers? I didn't find anything in the TMs. I do have a axle that started leaking about 160 miles from home and the opposite side same axle that had a streak of oil running down the tire while sitting on the GL lot but didn't leak while driving. Light was on when we left El Paso.

Ordered all the seals and gaskets for the back hubs, 2 pinion seals and the fuel solenoid today from Clark's.
Are there cheap aftermarket solenoids for sale? I ask because some places were as cheap as $40.00 and as high as $120.00. Clark was $84.00 was told it is OEM. Seals were cheap $19.00 per hub.

I don't recall the specifics, but there was a thread recently (within the last 30 days) in which someone suggested steps for checking out a solid ABS warning light. I am sorry I can't help more.
