Steering box bolt upgrade

The following image and tip is courtesy of "Reo Tech Tips", by Bob Kettler.

I can see that two of the bolts on my steering box have been replaced and the remainder are the old style "dished" heads. So I guess I need to do this upgrade.

Anyone familiar with this part # (in the image)? I am used to the NSN style.

couldn't you just pull one of the bolts and go find some grade8 replacements in the same size?
