Whats the difference between the original and the A2?

The original is skinny hard green plastic. The "A2" style is a little thicker and slightly softer black material

The original is green and thinner. The A2 is black and thicker. It offers a little better grip and hand feel. It has a textured surface where the original is smooth. Shape and diameter seem to be the same.
