Dumb question, but what do you guys do with your used parts? Like I replaced the air pack and hate to throw away the parts yet store them so they can be used later for a rebuild if needed.
I try and keep some extra parts on hand especially if in the future parts could get hard to find...
I do have some small parts- seals etc in ammo cans and argon filled to keep the oxygen out ( more gooder way to make them last) .. So any tips and tricks you know of?

It isn't oxygen that causes seals to degrade. Different types of rubber have different shelf lives. Buna is 10 years. Viton is typically 25-indefinite. Humidity is the biggest enemy during storage. Proper storage is expensive. You can climate control the space or climate control the packaging. All will require maintenance.

I would be happy just being able to collect all the "spare parts" I have for every type of vehicle I have owned for 20 years into one single location that is organized. Oh Well

I think I did spray WD40 on some metal items in one box for some CUCV engine parts.
