Straighten bent davit support?

So, the support arm for the spare tire davit is bent. Like this when I got the truck. It's the collapsible version.

This results in the tire not quite being raised high enough when I'm pulling it back in.

While I've been able to use a cum-along to get around this problem, any hints on how to bend it straight?

Port-a-power it back up, or swap it out with the welded version.

You should be able to make a new diagonal pretty easy. I wouldn't waste time on fixing it.
