Anyone have a stuck knob for the temp control for the heater? Went to defrost this morning and its stuck in the pushed in position.

Before I start pulling on it harder than I should I figured I see if there's an easy fix first.

The defrost knob does not control the temp. That is a different knob.
The temp cable runs to the engine compartment over by the coolant overflow tank. The valve is probably stuck, not the cable. Just disconnect the cable at the valve and use plier to open and close it.
The defrost cable runs to the passenger side diverter box. If that is stuck, you could remove it and spray some lubricant in it. The other cable, too. The diverter box control can be moved by hand too.
