Went to DMV with the gov planet title, was issued from Dept of Justice, Montana Title, with no mention of off road use only. Took it with my insurance card from Hagerty, Pre filled out DMV Texas Title forms and registration, had Humvee inspected at local inspection site (added a rear license plate lighted plate hanger, required here), it passed inspection, took everything to local dmv, person had never heard of an am general, brought the supervisor out, explained what it was, all she asked was if it was a truck or suv, and she copied everything over from the title. Paid local taxes and registration fees, and plates in hand, no harder than any other vehicle I have bought out of state!!
