OK, I am the proud owner of a '85 M1009 Blazer, I switched it over from a 24V to a 12V system. But now my voltmeter doesnt work. In the conversion I removed the drivers side alternator and the two blue and one orange fusible link wires from the 12V junction block. Now my volt meter doesnt work. I have read that there is a ceramic resistor on the back of the guage, to take the voltage from 24 down to 12 volts. If I remove this resistor will this allow the guage to work as the resistor is canceling out the 12V now. Or did I unhook a wire somewhere and if so where and what do I need to hook up or hook back up to.
