Ben and I would also like to convoy from the Beaumont area.

I participated in the convoy assembled at Fayetteville, AR in April. A long way to travel but was a lot of fun. Two other vehicles came from the BMMP Houston area club. A couple MV's came from N.E. Tex
37 vehicles gathered for the 100 mile convoy.

I have been involved in a 3 vehicle convoy, if you can call it a convoy, and had a great time. I would enjoy traveling with a larger group. Central Texas in the fall would sound good.

What's going on over here in our neck of the woods on the 4th of July? Any parades you are aware of?

I will probably go over to Friendswood and join their 4th parade if nothing comes up over here.

If we stay home again this hurricane season I won't be worried as much as I have taken down all the trees within reach of falling on the house.
I know this ani't got nothing to do with the subject of rallying. Just flapping my jaws.

If you're in town the Alamo MVPA is going to be participating in the Castroville Independence Day Parade. Of course if you're coming all this way given the temps lately I imagine you'll want to drive something with AC.

I have also wondered about the 4th. I havent heard of anything other than the standard fireworks.

I also have taken care of the tree problem. I lost two houses to Rita; dont want to do that again.

Here in Arlington the Arrowhead branch of the MVPA will have 16 vehicles participating. These will include a halftrack, deuce, command car, WW2 Harley Davidson military motorcycle, several jeeps, a couple of weapons carriers, and lots more. 0900 on the 4th.
