That's not too bad. We had one with the floors rusted away and a used lawn mower blade holding the front and back halves together. It is now a very pretty M718.

Have fun with your rebuild. My cousin served in South Korea in the early 1960's when they were out on maneuvers when a M715 went out of the road and down the mountain side. The motor pool demanded that the unit be turned in. The guys brought the M715 back in the shape of a "U" in a M 105 trailer. I doubt that a salvage was possible like the M16 with a right angle barrel courtesy of a Army tank! Mark

It's not as bad as some I've done. Mine had whole side panels rusted out. This one needs a few parts replaced but the underside is not bad at all. After sitting near 25 years the engine was unstuck and runs like new!

I agree it's not bad at all....and a runner to boot!!!
Most of the jeeps we've done started with a POS tub or maybe even a tub and frame and everything else was pieced together eventually.

I think you've got a heck of a good start to a really nice M151A2.:beer:
