Torque (Torsion??) Bars

Has anyone experienced a failed torque bar on the rear suspension? I have some showing some wear, and was thinking about making a preemptive strike. Any tips on rebuilding or who to call for replacement?

If NOS or service replacement aren't available, I'd bet Rare Parts would be able to re-do them. I'll see if I can't find a link when I get home.

i had one fail on my m52, it was the upper rear, the rear axle rolled to where the rear drive flang was rubbing on the pentel hook, it was not to bad to change out, just heavy and not much room to work on the forward end
