Trailer numbering

Hello, I'm in the process of restoring an M105 trailer (Vietnam vintage) and have ordered stars and stickers and such for it, bodywork, some paint, etc. I was wondering what I should use for the bumper numbers. I want to stencil these on. Did a little research and found on another MV website that they use the same numbers as what is on the pull vehicle (my deuce) preceded by a "T". Is this fairly common? I want it to be done correctly since I plan to show the rig later on. Thank you in advance.

Trailers have their own "Hood Number" (I hate that term). It's a registration number and the trailer has it's own registration number that is probably on the data plate.

The bumper number is the same as the towing vehicles bumper number with a T after it.

Only exception is in certain units that have multiple trailers for one tractor. Obviously your trailer is not a tractor trailer combination.
