transfer case help

I have done several searches and have not found what I was looking for.
The part in the picture below apears to be leaking from the end. What is the best way to fix this? This truck was a fire truck before, and I am finding that many parts went to the fire box that is now gone. So what does this do for me. The line seem to go to the front of the deuce.

That is leaking due to the seal in the Adapter in the T case is shot. Here is what you need. and you must have not searched too hard because I just posted about this problem with in the last 5 days......

That is the speedometer angle drive adapter. The line is your speedometer cable.

Could I just replace the seal until I get a new one? And is this a complete kit or just the part shown on the ebay add? Would this be a good time to get a new gear to adjust for the bigger tires, or does it matter when I do that?
