Any ideas why part #4 will not come out of my M1026? It rotates easily but can't get it to move a fraction. Acts like it is threaded.

You need to remove cotter pin 13, then pin 4 should slide right out. The combo of the washer and cotter pin is what retains that pin in the brake lever.

Grab the head of the clevis pin with vise grips then wedge a screwdriver between the assy and the jaw.

Yeh, tried that too. Used penetrating oil a couple of times over 24-hours. I’ll try a C-clamp tomorrow, maybe it will press out.
