Tube out of a 9.00X20 Tire in a 11.00X20 tire

Is this possible? Has anyone done this? It seems like it would work.

If it was a good idea, they wouldn't make 1100 tubes.

The tube will stretch to fit the tire, and will fail prematurely. Buy the 11.00x20 tubes.

We had that happen with a large farm tractor tire, the tire shop installed too small of a tube and one day later it went bad and almost wrecked a $600 tire, so please get the correct size tube.

The only flat I had on brand new Goodyear 11.00R 20 radials on the last cross country 7000 mile trip was because a mistake was made when we assembled them............we put a 9.00R 20 tube in the 11.00R 20 tire that went flat. Best to use the right tube in the tires for a reliable ride. From experience, JT

I'd do it in a "yard truck" but nothing that sees the road.

i installed the stock tubes until i can figure out what I'm doing for rims. almost 2000 miles and some heavy loads and no problems yet.
