Turn Signal Issue

The turn signals on my 1987 m1008 are not working properly. I have no turn signal lights inside when I turn it to the left or the right, but if I look outside then occasionally it will blink. I have checked the 30 amp fuse and if I turn the four ways on all the lights are working, and the green lights inside will flash as well. Look for any ideas.

Try replacing the flasher unit on the fuse box. To test, swap the upper (4way) flasher with the lower(turn flasher) and see if it solves the problem.

replacing the turn signal lights, parking lights, and break lights may fix your issue.

The op said all the lights are working. Why would replacing the lights solve the problem?

I would suggest cleaning all the grounds at the lights, and verify that the ground tabs in the light sockets are good.

I had a bad bulb that would give me intermittent turn signal issues until I replaced it.

The issue turned out to be the flasher, swapped it out with a new one and everything is back to normal. Thanks for the help.
