I'd like to personally thank in the forums two members who stepped when I asked that they give a right seat ride to someone at the rally last week.

Rmtaunton (Robert) and Coffey1 (Ken)

Thanks to both of you the man (not a member of SS) had a memorable rally.

I think you...as Commander of the GMVR should bestow the title of "Good Troop" upon each of them.

That is how I made a life long friend at the GA rally back a few years ago.

I feel like I was the lucky one in that situation.

I still get pics texted to me of his boy catching fish and gardening and other great stuff. We talk on the phone about all kinds of life things, with a real sense of friendship.

The Rallys have definitely extended my family.(several times)

Good on you...

"Come over to the Green Side of the Force, Luke."

Yes, this is how the bonds of the Green Iron Addiction are formed and reinforced. Friendships are forged stronger than family ties. Fellowship in this fraternity is forever.

It is my privilege to be associated with these fine men and women.

Oh, if all could be so blessed.

They were voluntold. SWB is quite proficient at delegating. He is truely a great rally commander and I will miss volunteering for him.

While I appreciate the thoughts it isn't about me.

I can only hope that Doug can come back next year and catch another ride with someone.

There's a reason I was kind of persuasive about getting him rides this year.

Thanks again.
