TX100 transmission alternative?

From what I've gathered, the TX100 is a 3 speed automatic transmission. I'm trying to lay out the feasibility of a project ahead but haven't been able to find a TX100 transmission. Does anyone know of an alternative transmission that could be used in it's place? I thought about the 545 allison, but it looks like it's 6" longer than the TX100.
