U-Joint replacement

I need to replace one of the u-joints and was wondering if anyone has done it. Seems like a simple job but was wondering if anyone has done it in place or is it better to remove the driveshaft ?
Figured I would ask.

I would defiantly remove the drive shafts to replace u joints. They are usually press fit with snap rings. I have a tool that attaches to an air hammer for removal and then use a press to reinstall.
