Use of Humvee parts for assembled vehicle

Has anyone assembled a vehicle, some could call a rat rod, from hummer components (front end suspension less 4 wheel drive, + body) and if so, could one title it for on-road use as an assembled vehicle?

I'm sure it could be done. As far as titling....that would depend on your state as for what they require.

I need a body/doghouse for an F450 frame with rear end I have. We want to make a camper and do some travel.

Search the web for used Type I Ford ambulances. It would be easier for you to modify an ambulance into a camper than to pull the panels off of a HMMWV and mate them to a F450 chassis. HMMWVs have aluminum bodies, and the frames look nothing like a stock pickup configuration.
