In cold weather in your neck of the woods I would go with 50/50 UMO and gasoline.

Make sure it is well filtered if it is coming from a tank that catches all the waste oil in the shop.

Water/anti-freeze or other contaminants are your enemy.

I worked for Porsche a long time ago (the Boxter was just coming in when I got out) ... as I recall, some of the owners would change oil so frequently ... you could almost filter it and re-use it as lube!

Also, you should be able to get a LOT of it!!!! Them 911's held a LOT of motor oil! Do I remember it was about 3 gallons (12 quarts) per oil change?

I've been accumulating all my Mobile One 0/40 from my VW GLI as well. Someday I'll get enough to warrant buying a filtering setup. In the meantime, I will continue to collect.
