No vacuum hoses on hmmwv, except for the air restriction gauge.
if you are talking about a thick rubber hose, one runs from cdr valve to water pressure cup. Both of those are likely missing.
When you find thin hard plastic lines cut, they should not be left open. Those are vent lines and would eventually let contaminants into components.

Can you post a pic of the entire truck?
Did you remove the a/c to paint interior? The duct is not on dash.

Yes I did remove the duct to paint the interior. Also sprayed sound deadening, installed duramat and carpeting. I will post pics of the entire truck later today but its not finished yet

Well, the good news is that your truck won't get lost in the parking lot. :cool:
I guess that is part of the magic of fixing old MV's.
You make it your own and paint it how you like it...
