Of all these posts, I'm surprised nobody told you the obvious, sure-fire way to verify it's an LDS... take off the heads, remove the exhaust valves, and cut them open... If they're sodium filled, it's an LDS. :-D

Also, I think there were piston and oil-cooling jet differences - Pull a piston for inspection.
