Visit to The War Memorial of Korea

I paid a visit on Saturday to the War Memorial of Korea here in Seoul. Very interesting exhibits inside and a good amount of MVs in an outside courtyard.

The ship in the first two pictures is a FULL SIZE replica of one the N. Koreans sunk a few years back.

The Mig in the first picture was flown to S Korea by a N Korean Defector. Now on public display.

The last few pictures are the names of those killed in the Korean War (UN Forces) and ONE of the hallways with Korean KIA.

My dad did 2 tours there during the war. And my nephew is there now.

It's a fun museum isn't it? I've been there a handful of times between my two tours. Very well designed and very enlightening.

There was also this exhibit, heck if I can remember where, that was a large room that provided "Thank you" and details of EACH country that provided personnel to the Korean War, on the 60th Anniversary.
