Voltmeter stays on

Just posted in what have you done to your cucv lately...then figured out how to post new thread...duh! My m1009 voltmeter stays on unless I disconnect my batt neg. Tapping on it will make it go down then it will pop back up! I'm gonna start with the voltmeter relay near the ashtray area. I was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and what may have been the remedy. Thx

Relay under the dash is stuck. It's on the same plate as the starting relay.

If the screw on the back of the voltmeter gets too close to metal it will ground out and stay on.
