I have a humvee 1123 6.5 . Wait light wont turn off when I put it in start , it will start if I put it in run but light will remain on . I have replaced glow plugs months before this started happening . I’ve tried putting it on start and stop back and forth with 10 seconds between session and light still stays on on start position .

One thing is every time you turn the run switch to off you must wait at least 90 seconds before going back to run, probably not your issue but if you do not wait you can burn up the glow plugs, it's all in the operators TM.
Also you should fix you location, there are many towns called San Diego
