Weight of the LDT-465 engine

A normal engine hoist will not pick it up. However, a normal engine hoist already up will hold the engine if you use a chain hoist to pick it up. I wouldn't walk under it, but if you are short of large equipment, it will get the job done.

Found it about 1800 - 1900 # that is a heavy beast

bump... anyone know what the heads alone weigh?

I am just curious, no real need for the info, sadly I forgot to weigh mine when I had them off for the gasket job.

My guess is 100-150lb each.
