Welding with a MEP-002a

Will I do any harm to my mep002a using a millermatic 220 welder. Main concern is unsteady voltage and keeping it at 60htz.

As long as the current draw doesn't exceed the 002s capacity you should not have any problems.

I've been using my MEP002A with my Hobart 175A mig welder for a couple of years. Never had any issues, 175A setting puts the MEP002A @ 80-90%
I would have someone watch the "% of load" gauge just to see how far you can turn the welder up to.
