What are the letters along the side of the fold out wiring diagram for M35A3?

I'm looking at TM-9-2320-386-24-1-2 foldout 1 showing the wiring diagram. Can anyone tell me the significance of the letters along the left side? at first I thought they were indicating a continuing connection but I can't find any continuation? They don't seem to be a shared buss as some are + and others are ground.

oh, that makes sense, it was labeled like a connector, but with no continuing connection. That's exactly what that would be. Thanks for the help.
