Just wondering what a list of tools you keep in your truck tool boxes might look like. What would be the tool you would never leave home without? I have the basics like stated in the TM's but is there a tool that anyone would suggest that is not stated in the TM's.

I keep all my tools elsewhere, the tool box on the driver's side is where I keep my lifting chains/straps, load binders and roadside emergency kit (reflective triangles).
Not mentioned in Ryan's list are spares, you will need spare light bulbs and at least one head light, a spare turn signal flasher and small tools for electrical work, a DVM and a good tire pressure gauge.
A first aid kit is a must.
With dual tires in the rear, I never worried about bringing a spare tire, need one for single 1100's , though. I also usually bring tire chains.
