Yep since you posted the pictures that also show the reset/rebuild plate, that is the Army registration number for your truck.

Why would they paint the registration number all over his truck?

I thought they just painted them inside the door and on or under the hood.

Don't they have standardized locations?

What the heck are you people talking about!? It shows that none of you have ever been in the military and have NO clue as to what you are talking about.

What it is is a warning abbreviation to the less than stellar but they left the I out NLOIFUS (No Loafing or I'll F*&^ yoU, Sh!7head). That kept private in sync that the 1SG is always watching.

Remember, I'm CARNAC and I know these things to be true.

So what does NLOFUS mean. it seems to be important to the army
its on about 6 places on the 923 we just got.

That's actually like "snafu" or "fubar".

The military puts that on all their surplus vehicles-it means "no longer of use".
