What happened with my stored uploaded pictures?

I uploaded a lot of pics for posting. Now when I look through my already uploaded pictures to reuse them again, I noticed that a lot of them are missing in my already uploaded selection. The links are still functional, so I suppose they are stored elsewhere but I do not see them anymore. Or do I miss a trick here?

I assume you're talking about from the file upload manager when you click on the manage attachments button in a reply? It will only display a selection of them in the window, but down to the bottom right of the window you can just make out a > and >> button. (Highlighted in red in the attached image) This allows you to scroll through earlier uploads. Then you can drag those previous images down into your post and it will simply reference the files you've already uploaded. (Quicker, and saves space on the server)
