what is involved with replacement air dryer

What is involved by raplacing the air dryer element
Do I take out the whole unit and do it on the bench
or can one do it sitting under the truck.????
I looked at it it look like 2 bolts and it will come out after removing 3 air line
Please help
I mean the air dryer on a M35A3 that sits inside the rail by the first rear axle

Willy, if you have an A3 the attached doc should help. Just remove and replace the cartridge.

The doc I posted will help you. Ignore that it is for an RV.

I tried to do mine on the frame but it would not spin. It was not too bad to remove entirely.

Yeah, those spin-on filters get stuck-on, pretty good!
