What is the difference between an M880, and an M882?

M882 is an M880 fitted with an additional generator and a radio equipment kit. Basically an M880 set up to carry and operate radios.

Ah.. ok.. Makes sense. Mine has M882 on the data plate, but the 24v generator kit at some point was taken off.
