What is this called and how do you get it off? Injection pump part

I don't know what it is called so it was hard to search for. I looked through the TMs but didn't see it, though I could of passed over it.

It is on top of the injection pump where the fuel lines to the injectors go. I have taken off the 4 nuts, pulled the injector lines off and any other line that was attached. Is there something holding it in? It is loose, I can turn it, just can't pull it out.

Thanks for any help.

Any idea how to line that gear up? I have tried turning and pulling up, at pretty much every spot the head will spin. Tried wiggling it, etc.

Thanks for the input on what it is, I will start searching :)

If you force it, you will break it.

You need to follow a proceed outlined in the tech manuals.

It has also been posted on SS, how to remove the hydraulic head.

I'll look for a link and the tm#.

Cool that is good info to know. I knew where it was leaking since I could see it squirting out on both sides where the head mounts to the pump. Got it fixed, thanks everyone for the help!
