I'm losing prime, when I use the primer pump I'm getting fuel and air bubbles coming out of the top of this sensor and of course when I finally get the truck started. I looked in the Parts TM, it shows a plug instead of this electrical device. Anyone know what it does and what the part number is? I assume I need to replace it if there's fuel coming out of the top of it.20160221_130332.jpg

Fuel Pressure transducer
Okay so what exactly does it do, is it necessary? Seems weird the -24P TM doesn't even show it, so I have no clue what the part# is. I did a quick online check for fuel pressure transducer 6CTA and came back with one place, but they don't have pictures of them only prices from 64 to 400+.......Maybe I should just find someone parting out a truck for this thing!

Check the thread i posted.
Thank you. I missed the post about it being for the diagnostic port. Took me a second time and actually READ the thread.....LOL Thanks a bunch guys, I'll just plug it off. Since I can't see I'll ever find the diagnostic stuff cheap.

The Fuel Transducer is part of the ICE diagnostics package for the M939 trucks. It is only needed when doing diagnostics with the ICE interface.
Unplug the transducer & Remove it and then put a plug in the open port of the primer/lift pump.
