I need to repaint the crosses on my M996A1 and can't find flat red paint anywhere. Does anyone on the forum know who sells it? I know this sounds pretty simple but the only flat red I've found is more orange than red.

TIA,

Kurt

Not exactly paint but I just bought a can of red plasti dip from the local Tru-Value. It was the only thing flat red. Google red plasti dip images. Seems there is a cult following painting cars with this stuff! I used mine on the lockout hubs of the CUCV.

Are you sure that they used flat paint for the red and white? No need to hide an ambulance and I have a new soft top that has the scapp pattern and the red and white are definitely not flat. More of a low sheen or semi gloss.
Oh and have you thought of changing things up a bit and painting a red crescent moon instead of a red cross?
