Lots of cool hardware scattered about. The warehouses have an awesome"old school" aura about them. Dark and musty, yet VERY clean with a well organized appearance. What's not to love?

The shots you took of the yard area. Now, picture that with WWII vehicles, thats how it was about 20 years ago. Can not brag enough about the guys at White Owl, just great guys.

I can't say enough positive about George and Terry Kivett at White Owl, when I owned an M35A2 and M105A2 they were the folks to call for parts you needed yesterday! I only wish they'd a branched out into Unimogs....[thumbzup]

I was at White Owl Today!

White Owl is in Kinston North Carolina. It is about an hour and a half from where I live, but I had to go there for the funeral of a friend. I have stopped in there several times and alway been treated right. I picked up some parts there today for a 1943 Willys MB that is nickle and dimeing me to death. They have a huge inventory and resonable prices.

Would you happen to be the gentleman with the blue pickup with the MVPA sticker in the rear window who was in the process of loading up some very ancient looking components when I was leaving?

I do have a blue grey chevrolet crew cab, but there is no sticker. I was there about 2:00-2:45. If you had seen me you would have probably remembered it. I was in a Civil War uniform. The family of my Pard who died (also CW Reenactor) had asked for our unit to dress in early war uniforms and fire a musket volley.
